Worth Every Sweaty Minute!!
Every song was one of the biggest bang moments for your buck after another. She was real with the audience, connecting by changing the word Indiana to California in her song "U Got Nothin' On Me" and thanking every parent who was willing to sweat it out in order to bring their kids to see her. Although it was a State Fair event and the heat index was at least well into the upper 90's, everyone was sweaty and stinky, but who cares? It was totally worth it. Sweeney Todd even made a comment about it too, with her hair sticking to her face and her makeup running. I think the realness added to that awesomeness. She clearly knows how to show respect, even if some may argue that she was scripted. Demi performed in a manner that looked as though she were still having the time of her life belting out tunes into her hairbrush and strutting around her bedroom pretending to be a star. Even though some might not see that as professional, it translates into a great concert and a feeling of unpretentiousness that has all but disappeared from most stages these days. Now, I wish I could have seen every concert on her whole tour!
